This Privacy Policy explains how Arnulf collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Arnulf app.

Arnulf is a private daily standards and progress tracking app designed to help users build consistency one day at a time.

By using Arnulf, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information we collect

Arnulf collects only the information needed to provide the app’s core features.

This may include:

Account information

- Email address

- Authentication and session information

- Account creation, sign-in, sign-out, and account deletion information

App activity and user content

- Standards you create in the app

- Check-ins and completion history

- Progress data

- Streaks

- Badge progress

- Dates and timestamps related to your app activity

Technical information

- Basic server request logs, such as request path, response status, and response time

- Authentication-related technical information, such as session tokens and device/browser information

- IP address where required for authentication, security, hosting, or technical operation of the app

Arnulf does not collect:

- Precise location data

- Contacts

- Payment information

- Health data

- Biometric data

- Apple Health or fitness data

- Advertising data

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

- Create and manage your Arnulf account

- Allow you to sign in and use the app

- Save your standards, check-ins, streaks, badges, and progress

- Provide the core features of the app

We do not use your information for third-party advertising or ad tracking.

3. Private standards

Arnulf is designed around private daily standards.

The standards you create, your progress, your streaks, and your badges are private to your account. Arnulf does not include a public feed, public profile, public leaderboard, or social sharing feature in the current version of the app.

4. Third-party services

Arnulf uses trusted third-party services to provide the app’s core functionality.

Clerk

We use Clerk for account creation, sign-in, sign-out, session management, and account deletion. Clerk may process information such as your email address, session information, and authentication-related technical data.

Replit and PostgreSQL

Arnulf is hosted using Replit, and app data is stored in a PostgreSQL database. This may include your standards, check-ins, progress, streaks, badges, and related app activity.

We do not use advertising SDKs, third-party ad tracking, payment processors, push notification services, or third-party behavioural analytics tools.

5. Data storage and security

Arnulf stores app data using a PostgreSQL database hosted through Replit.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access, misuse, loss, or disclosure. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Account deletion

If you create an Arnulf account, you can delete your account from within the app by going to:

Settings > Account > Delete Account

When you delete your account, your Arnulf account and associated app data will be deleted, including your standards, progress, streaks, and badges, unless we are required to retain certain information for legal, security, or legitimate business purposes.

After your account is deleted, you will no longer be able to sign in using that account.

7. Access, correction, and deletion requests

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your Arnulf account.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share limited information with trusted service providers only where needed to provide the app’s core functionality, such as authentication, hosting, database storage, security, and support.

We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Arnulf, its users, or others.

Arnulf does not use advertising SDKs.

Arnulf does not sell your data.

Arnulf does not use your data for third-party advertising.

Arnulf does not track you across other apps or websites for advertising purposes.

10. Children’s privacy

Arnulf is not intended for children under 13 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Arnulf, please contact us at support@michaeleggins.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Arnulf after changes are published means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
